Every program begins with listening. IFI partners with local leaders, educators, and organizations to identify real needs and co create solutions that fit each community's context, culture, and goals.
From digital literacy workshops in Minnesota to media production training in The Gambia, the approach stays the same: meet people where they are, build on existing strengths, and create pathways that last beyond any single program cycle.

Programs are built with communities, local strengths are respected, and the goal is sustainable local ownership rather than short term, externally driven projects. Meet Yusupha Badjie
Yusupha is a bridge builder who connects Minnesota and The Gambia through media, youth development, entrepreneurship, technology, and community opportunity. His work includes the Jeshwang Media Hub and Minnesota Media Hub, alongside a broader vision for collaboration across borders and locally grounded leadership.
